What are the changes in Magnesium Buffered Chelate?

We have changed the name Magnesium Glycinate Chelate to Magnesium Buffered Chelate to more accurately describe the formula. This is a buffered magnesium product and always has been. Just recently however, we have been to disclosed to the buffering agent, hence the Mg oxide appearance. Again, this is not something we added to the Mag Glycinate, it is a complex that is pre-made from our supplier Albion.

The production of Magnesium Buffered Chelate is:

Fully reacted Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate

Magnesium Oxide blended in post reaction

Homogenous spray dry of the entire magnesium blend

**This has always been the manufacturing process for this product. The MgO is approx. 20%. Again the product did not change, it was just named more appropriately and the buffering agent has been disclosed on the label. All other companies using ALBION with Mag Glycinate Buffered are using the same material just calling it Mag Glycinate Buffered. In addition, we will have a pure Magnesium Glycinate product in a tablet and powder next month. Thank you.
